Responsibilities:
- Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment
- Performs necessary setup procedures on equipment as needed
- Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
- Makes recommendations to the service manager for any potential add on sales for each job
- Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time and all materials used in performing assigned duties
- Perform other tasks as directed by the service manager or store managers
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural, turf, and construction equipment
- Ability to use basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Valid drivers license is required

- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 3+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures on machines of the Technician’s specialty
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural, compact construction, and turf equipment
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Advanced Service Technician certification preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:
- Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
- Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
- Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
- Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
- Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
- May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle
- May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
- Perform any other task on an as need basis
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 1+ years experience as truck operator
- CDL License Preferred (may be required based on location)
- Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 75 lbs. repeatedly

Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Supplies Service Manager with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Verifies receiving of shipments and assists the service department with parts lookup and ordering
- Maintains the parts department in a clean and orderly fashion
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
- Manages inventory levels in conjunction with the Corporate Parts Managers objectives
- Performs an annual inventory audit within the specified time frame established by the Corporate Parts Manager
- Promotes add-on and attachment sales to customers
- Generates the daily parts order to ensure each department receives the necessary items to complete their tasks
- Performs other duties as needed or directed by the location manager or corporate parts manager
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Fork lift license preferred

Duties for the Store Manager role may include:
- Collaborates with Corporate Management to develop, maintain and manage the execution of the Sales and Aftermarket Strategic Business Plan for the organization
- Oversee the daily maintenance and security of the facility
- Identify opportunities for asset or capital improvements and make necessary requests to leadership for approval. Implement capital improvement changes after approval is obtained
- Assist with ensuring appropriate staffing coverage of key positions during absences and identify when changes to staffing levels are needed
- Ensure a professional appearance of the facility and surrounding property
- Ensure employees in all departments receive any “all-employee” communication from the organization leadership team
- Resolve elevated customer issues as needed
- Act as the primary contact for local community events and decisions
- Assist in developing a positive reputation and image in the community that is consistent with the organization’s values and goals
- Lead regular team meetings between department managers and identifies and implements ways to foster teamwork between departments at the location
- Provide input to the hiring, development, evaluation, and effectiveness of the other employees and management team within their store
- Attend periodic meetings with management team to develop direction and guidance on company goals
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 3-5 years’ experience in managing operations
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group
- Excellent understanding of financial principles relative to operations
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and dealer business systems
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities:
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management accordingly
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations

Requirements:
- 1+ years equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
